Not that making animated movies is a bad thing - but while losing his love for all that is non-cg he seems to have also lost that human touch to his scripts and everything else about Star Wars.
Wall-E is more human than Star Wars will ever again be ;)

I really like the animated format, though, especially the stylization in the same vein as the Cartoon Network shorts. It keeps them from having to replicate the actors too closely and falling into the uncanny valley. And I admit to laughing at "Sky-guy" and a lot of the Anakin-Ashoka banter. But then, I'm a mindless fansheep. ;D
