Policy On Information Collected
Do-A-Poll takes your privacy very seriously and will not divulge your personal information to any third party. We require you to give us a small amount of information to register a username (a username, password, and email address). Information collected during registration, when you post a poll, when you vote on a poll, including use of the "boost" and "veto" options, and when you comment on a poll is stored on our servers. We may also collect certain "traffic data" for our logs such as IP addresses and the requested pages. We do not collect any other personal information. We may collect anonymous statistics (such as, but not limited to, number of total votes for a poll, number of comments for a poll, and number of polls on doapoll.com).

Policy On Cookies
Do-A-Poll does not use cookies except for the sole purpose of keeping a user logged in. Do-A-Poll does not collect personal information through cookies and does not combine information from cookies with other personal information you may give us.

Policy On Email
Do-A-Poll will not share your email address with any third parties. We may, however, send out emails with Do-A-Poll-related news, products, offers, surveys or promotions. We believe the emails are low-volume, but if you wish to not receive emails, please email noemails@doapoll.com and include your username in the email.

Policy On Polls
When you post a poll, we collect the time you posted the poll, your username, and the poll data itself (such as poll title data, poll description data, and poll option data), store these items on our servers, and show them with the poll. We additionally may store a user's IP address when the user posts a poll to help diagnose problems with our server, to tailor site content and to format the site and software to user needs, to help enforce our terms of service, and to generate aggregate statistical reports for internal use.

Policy On Comments
When you post a comment, we collect the time you posted the comment, your username, and the comment data itself, store these items on our servers, and show them with the comment. We additionally may store a user's IP address when the user posts a comment to help diagnose problems with our server, to tailor site content and to format the site and software to user needs, to help enforce our terms of service, and to generate aggregate statistical reports for internal use.

Policy On Profiles
Profiles contain a username, that user's recent polls, and that user's comments. Please see our Policy on Information Collected, our Policy on Polls, our Policy on Comments.

Protecting Your Privacy
We encourage users to log out after using the Do-A-Poll website on a shared computer to prevent unauthorized access to their accounts.

Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to it. All of our employees are kept up to date on our privacy and security practices. Do-A-Poll employees will never ask you for your password.

Account Removal
To remove your account, please make the request to support@doapoll.com.

Children Under 18 Years of Age
You must be 13 years and older to register to use the Do-A-Poll website. As a result, Do-A-Poll does not specifically collect information about children. If we learn that Do-A-Poll has collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. We recommend that minors between the ages of 13 and 18 ask and receive their parents' permission before using Do-A-Poll or sending information about themselves or anyone else over the Internet.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
Do-A-Poll may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, at its sole discretion. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Do-A-Poll website so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, it is disclosed.

Conditions of Use
If you decide to visit the Do-A-Poll website, your visit and any possible dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of Texas state law.
